Mo Senatour … Post 3, The Journey Continues

Dear Friends and Neighbors:

Thanks for following Mark and me on our journey around Missouri!  

Largely due to the graciousness of my Senate colleagues, we are building relationships, learning, making memories, (and Mark is getting in a good amount of golf!)

Sullivan: The #Senatour is Sizzling!

Our trip to Sullivan proved fruitful for both Mark and me!  While Monday was plenty hot, Mark and I met up with Senator Dave Schatz in his district, and the two of them played 18 holes at the beautiful Sullivan Golf Club, while I caught up with news, work and odds & ends in the Sullivan Library.

Mark and I hit the road about 930 Friday morning. We were excited about our adventure as we headed off to Hermann, Missouri via the back roads as much as was possible. The scenery was beautiful to look at, including huge acreage of tall, healthy-looking corn stalks. (I can’t tell food from feed or fuel… but I did see green and tall!)
